In a season marked by political and economic uncertainty, the lingering impacts of the pandemic, and an ongoing overdose crisis, it is our hope to provide a supportive group where practising clinical counsellors and psychotherapists can come together to heal through authentic interpersonal connection, honest feedback, and shared exploration of human experience.
Our theoretical guide will be Yalom’s group counseling theory, which emphasizes focusing on the “here-and-now,” where group members’ interactions are used as real-time material for self-understanding and change.
Full attendance at all scheduled sessions will help ensure the best possible group counselling experience.
We hope you will join us.

What is Group Counselling?
In these sessions, participants come together in person to share their experiences, challenges, and hopes in a supportive environment guided by two trained group counsellors. The heart of a process group lies in the opportunity to connect with others, gain new perspectives, and offer and receive understanding, encouragement, and gentle feedback — all within a safe and confidential space.
To help ensure a meaningful and positive experience for everyone, participants will be thoughtfully selected based on their readiness to engage, comfort with group work, and alignment with the group’s goals.
